This consists of an 8mm wide flexible plastic/metal composite ribbon that has superbright green LEDs soldered to it every 16.67mm, for a total of 300 LEDs per 5 metre roll. The entire lngth of ribbon is encapsulated in a clear flexible material, making it completely waterproof. Rated at 400mA per metre or 2A per roll.
The LEDs are connected as groups of three in series with a tiny surface mount resistor, and the ribbon can simply be cut with scissors to the desired length. This material has a white coloured PCB and has double sided tape on the back of the ribbon for mounting to a flat surface.
