These amazing LED arrays are made by Cree and consist of many LED chips mounted on a 22mm square metal substrate. They are easy to use, you just bolt them to a heatsink, connect a suitable driver and you're done.

These arrays can be driven up to 1 amp at around 40 volts, although we recommend that you keep the current at well under this for longevity. Light output at 1 amp is over 2,500 lumens and 900 lumens at the standard test current of 270mA at 85°C. Colour temperature of these is 3000K.
