This amazing giant traffic light was bought as a sample. It was originally used at a highway intersection in California. It produces a blinding red light from the 196 clear red superbright LEDs.
The LED circuit board is about 275mm in diameter and is mounted under a clear plastic lens within the translucent red case. The LEDs are driven by a built in power supply circuit board that uses 120VAC for operation.
Everything is mounted within the red translucent 292mm diameter x 125mm thick case. The outer red case has a few smudges and scratches, however these will not affect performance. This is being sold "as is" because it is a used pull from traffic lights, but all of the LEDs light up brightly on this unit.
This unit works well from a standard 240 to 120 volt stepdown transformer, but must not be used directly on 240 volts AC. Of course, you can replace the built-in driver with one of your own.
