Mega Flasher kit

This simple kit uses one IC to flash a power LED at a rate of 0.5Hz to about 5Hz, adjustable with a trimpot. The pulse width is also adjustable from around 50% down to under 5%.

Ideal for adding a very bright flasher to equipment or RC models, or anywhere else you need a very bright flasher.

We supply the kit all the parts you need to build the kit, but no power LED. You can drive almost any of our power LEDs from this kit. Two current limiting resistors (10 ohm and 4.7 ohm, both 2 watt) are supplied and the kit is also designed to enable you to use one of our NSI50350 LED driver ICs, which will provide a nice regulated 350mA pulse to the LED(s).

Short form kit including PCB and all components. Note that the main IC is a surface mount device with 1.27mm lead spacing, so you will need a fine tipped, temperature controlled soldering iron to make this kit.

PCB measures just 26.6mm x 18.6mm, so is very compact and easy to fit into models and equipment.
