3mm Red-Blue flashing LED

These LEDs have red and blue chips and a flashing controller IC which alternated between the colours. The LEDs change colour at around a 2Hz rate, so they complete a cycle from red to blue, back to red, approx every second - very eyecatching.

Standard 3mm LED case. Should be used with a resistor, just like any other LED.

Note: These LEDs have short leads (17mm anode, 15mm cathode).
