These are becoming popular in replacement lamps for incandescent globes, but now you can get them separately for experimentation. They use a ceramic substrate with 7 LED chips connected in parallel, all covered in a phosphor. Note that because they are ceramic based, they are not flexible!
These are rated at 3 volts at 10-20mA per chip, or 70 to 140mA total, 0.5W maximum. Colour temperature is 6500k. Total length is 30mm, with a 21mm long light emitting area. Around 1.6mm diameter.
Use them to make your own custom lamps, or even novel digital displays (like a big numitron, just LED!)
The anode is the lead with the small hole in it.
Note, these come to us in bags of 5, so that's how we sell them, minimum of 5 units.
