Beam splitting prism

This very interesting prism is made of a number of pieces of glass assembled in such a way as to cause the prism to split the three colours of red, green and blue and direct them out of separate faces of the cube.

Shine a white light into one face of the cube and the different colours come out at right angles to each other.

Great for optical experimentation.

Prism is 18mm cubed.
