Where do we ship to?
LEDsales ships to most countries, with some exceptions, due to the high number of scams originating from these countries. If your country does not appear in the destination list during checkout, then please email us to see if we can ship to you.What does shipping cost?
To determine the shipping cost for your order, all you need to do is log into the shop so that it knows where you are, and it will display the shipping cost of the order as you add items to the cart. You will need to have created your customer profile in order to do this. Note that we only use Australia Post parcel services, we do not ship items as large letters to reduce postage costs as letter services do not provide enough physical protection for the products.Note that due to the slowness of overseas shipping and the regular queries from overseas customers as to the location of their orders, overseas shipping now includes tracking, which increases the price. We apologise for the increased cost, but it has become necessary to add tracking to all overseas orders.
Are there no cheaper shipping options? For example, why can't you send items as a letter?
We did have the option to ship orders as a large letter in a 16mm flat box, but we have discontinued this due to Australia Post losing multiple orders, so all orders must now go by regular parcel post or express post, both of which are tracked.We do not send LEDs and other components in standard letter envelopes, the risk of damage is too high.
How long will my order take to arrive?
This will depend on where you are. Once payment has been received, orders are sent as quickly as possible. Shipping is generally done each day, but orders must be received by 9am to ship the same day.As LEDsales is located in Tasmania, only capital city locations are within the next-day Express Post delivery zone. For Australian locations outside of main cities, transit times for Express Post are generally 2 days. However, for rural and remote locations, it may take longer.
Please don't place an order on a Thursday and expect to receive it by the weekend, even with Express Post, as this is not possible!
Orders inside Australia may take up to two weeks, depending on Australia Post, although some orders have taken up to a month to arrive, so please be patient. If you require your order quickly, please select the Express Post option when checking out. If the only option available is "Table rate", then the order will ship express by default.
Orders to destinations outside of Australia generally take 10 to 14 days, but shipping to some countries can take a month or more, and some orders have taken up to 3 months, despite being sent airmail. Overseas orders are often delayed by the recipient country's Customs Department. Such delays are out of our control, so please be patient, almost all orders arrive eventually.
