Optosupply linear LED driver IC

These are not really resistors, but are in fact linear constant current drivers. They have a maximum input withstand voltage of 70 volts and have a fixed output current of 18mA (16-19mA range).

They come in a TO-92 package and look just like a small signal transistor, only with two pins instead of three.

Use them just like resistors, the only requirements are that the supply voltage is 3.5 volts or so above the LED Vf, and that you don't exceed their power dissipation rating. Oh, and you must use the correct polarity, of course!
