53mm diameter fan style heatsink

These are nice little heatsinks that measure 53mm diameter x 20mm thick. They are ideal for cooling power LEDs up to 5 watts, or more if you use a fan as well.

They are designed to allow you to directly mount a standard 20mm hex star LED to them. Just use a bit of heatsink compound for good heat transfer, and fix the LED using M3 self tapping screws (not supplied, but commonly found in old electronic gear).
