Meteor shower module - yellow

These impressive little modules have numerous LED chips on one side of the module (but the light shines through the PCB and emits from both sides), controlled by a small surface mount IC to create a running light effect - the light starts at the bottom and runs to the end, with the LEDs fading in a meteor trail fashion (note that you can't really see the meteor trail effect in the video, it looks much better than the video).

Note: if you fire them up and all LEDs come on without the running effect, then you probably need some filtering on the power supply. A 1uF ceramic capacitor across the input terminals will do it.
