Lite-on 3mm stepped-flange superbright blue LEDs

These are water clear 3mm LEDs that light up a very bright blue. Ratings are unknown as no datasheet is available, but they appear to be 2000-3000mcd at 20mA at a beam angle of around 30 degrees. They produce a nice even blue spot with sharply defined edges.

Because they are made by Lite-on, they are very good quality, ideal for where you need a reliable, long-lasting 3mm LED.

The interesting thing about these is that they have a dual or stepped flange, see the photo for details.

Lite-on part number LTC1CHTBK3-002. Supplied on tape. They have same-length leads, the anode is the lead with the small lead-frame inside the LED case.
