Diffuse 4 pin 8mm strawhat RGB LED - common cathode

These LEDs contain three separate LED chips, red, green and blue. By driving the three chips separately, you can produce any colour that you wish, including white light.

They are packaged in an 8mm "strawhat" (wider angle) milky white diffused LED package but have 4 leads, not 2, with a 2.54mm pin spacing (there is one common cathode lead and three separate anode leads - one for each colour). This is a wider pin spacing than is standard for these types of LED, making them more suitable for use on PCBs. Lead length is around 19mm maximum.

Continuous current per LED chip is 20mA (60mA for total package), and Vf for each colour is typical of LEDs for that colour, or around 2.2V for red, 3V for blue and green.
