Bare 1.5 volt switchmode LED driver for one 1W LED

This pre-built module will drive a single 1-watt high power LED at 350mA from a nominal 1.5 volt DC source, such as a 1.5 volt battery. They are ideal for use in torch conversions, or anywhere you need a tiny step-up LED driver.

The unit consists of a tiny PCB around 12mm diameter. It has two short leads soldered to one side which connect to your LED and the underneath has two gold plated pads. The inner pad is for the positive of the power supply, the outer ring is for the negative.

These are ideal for building into your own equipment. Combine one of these with a 1W LED for an efficient 1.5 volt light!

Note: you must not power these up without a LED connected as you may kill the driver!
