Bare 3.7 volt switchmode LED driver for one 3W LED

This pre-built module will drive a single 3-watt high power LED at 700mA from a 1.2 to 4.2 volt DC source, such as a 1.5 volt battery or a single lithium cell. They are ideal for use in torch conversions, or anywhere you need a tiny step-up LED driver.

The unit consists of a tiny PCB around 16mm diameter. It has two short leads soldered to one side which connect to your LED and the underneath has two gold plated pads. The inner pad is for the positive of the power supply, the outer ring is for the negative.

These are ideal for building into your own equipment. Combine one of these with a 3W power LED for an efficient battery powered light!
