RGB 12 volt 5050 LED ribbon

This consists of a flexible plastic/metal composite ribbon that has 60 superbright RGB LEDs per metre, for a total of 300 LEDs per 5 metre roll. They are connected as groups of three in series with a surface mount resistor for each colour, and the ribbon can simply be cut with scissors to the desired length.

The LEDs used on this ribbon are high powered 5050 case devices with 3 LED chips in each device, current consumption is 1200mA per metre.
