12V AC/DC driver for 4 to 7 x 1W LEDs

If you need to drive a string of 1 watt LEDs from a 12 volt AC or DC source, then this is the driver for you.

This driver steps up the voltage to whatever the LED string requires. Output voltage can be from 12 to 23V, while output current is fixed at 300mA. Rated efficiency is >=90%. IC used in this driver is the BP1601 LED driver IC. Datasheet is here.
