These battery snaps fit 9 volt transistor radio batteries (the same as used in smoke alarms etc) as well as some AA and AAA battery holders that have the same connectors. They have 90mm long leads terminating in a 5.5 x 2.1mm DC plug. The leads come out of the side, not the end of the snap.
