5mm red conical indent LED - waterclear case

These low cost LEDs have a 5mm flat top case with a conical indent at the end and disperse light in a wide pattern, both sideways and out of the flat end.

They are idea where the LEDs need be seen from a wide angle, or just for decorative purposes, as they are similar to the LEDs used in many Xmas lights.

Vf is around 2.2V and max continuous forward current is 20mA.
