30A, 12-24V DC speed controller/LED dimmer kit - updated

This speed controller uses pulse-width modulation to allow you to vary the speed of 12 or 24 volt DC motors from 0 to 100%. It is also suitable for controlling loads such as incandescent/halogen lamps and heating elements, and even LED strip.

It is ideal for use on small electric vehicle projects, such as electrically assisted bikes and go-carts. This controller has also been used to control motors used for gem polishing - the uses are endless really.

The kit features an easy to solder circuit board, and we supply the kit with a 30 amp freewheel diode and a 60V, 263A, heavy duty Toshiba MOSFET (TK100A06N1).

Kit includes circuit board, all components and instructions. No case is provided. Note that this kit has been simplified and is much easier to build and much smaller than the previous version.
