Simple round running lights kit - yellow

This kit uses no ICs, instead using a 3 channel relaxation oscillator circuit that uses just three transistors, and a handful of resistors and capacitors.

The 5mm diffuse LEDs light in groups of four, equispaced around the board, so the effect is just like an IC based running light, but simpler and easier to build.
