Blue 0.5W 4.8mm 360 degree LED

These LEDs are rated up to 0.5W (150mA) and have phosphor throughout the top half of the case, so they spread the light very evenly. They are similar to our nice little 4.8mm 360° LEDs, but have a higher current rating and light output.

They have heavy duty lead frames for better heatsinking, but you do need to make sure you provide enough heatsinking, either through attached wires or adequate area of copper on your circuit board, or whatever.

They are around 4.8mm diameter without a flange, and 8.2mm long, so similar to a 5mm flangeless LED, just with a much wider viewing angle and higher current rating.
