Mini animating RGB display

These little displays consist of an oval shaped PCB with an STC STC8G1K08 microcontroller and USB-C port on the back, and 40 tiny 2020 sized RGB LEDs and a tiny clicky tactile switch on the front. There's also a programming header on the board, but we have no idea what it's used for or if the micro is reprogrammable.

The microcontroller is pre-programmed with the following modes:
• Alternating red and blue bright flashing, like a police emergency light
• Cyan chasing display, where two LEDs mirror each other chasing around the display, and when they meet, the whole display flares to full brightness cyan, then fades before the next cycle
• Morphing colours through the whole RGB range, chasing each other as they morph around the display
• All LEDs full on, with the whole display morphing through the various colours, like the 5mm RGB slow animating LEDs
• Two white meteors chasing each other around the display
• All LEDs "breathing", changing colours between each cycle
• A demo mode, with all modes above cycling through every few seconds
• Off.

Module measures 48.7mm × 15.5mm and it has two mounting holes. There is also a pair of solder pads on the back for power connection, and the module will run from 3.7V to 5.5V, so it works on a single lithium cell.

Module also has mode memory, so it remembers the last used mode, even after being powered down.

Ideal as a marker light for drones or bikes or anywhere you need a compact, bright, easy to use marker light.
